Russ Hague - 1968 Roadrunner

This is 1968 Plymouth Roadrunner that was originally sold at York Brothers Motors in Crossville, Tennessee.  The car spent its entire life in the Kentucky/Tennessee area until I bought it and shipped her to Albuquerque.

The car is a true RM21 car with a 383 engine and A727 Automatic Transmission. The car is advertised with a 3.31 Dana Sure lock rearend and is a matching number car although I have not personally confirmed that yet. The car was restored in 1999.  I have the original owners manual, the original certicard and the car has the correct fendertag under the hood.

When the previous owner restored they car, they rebuilt the engine using stainless steel valves, put in a performance cam, installed an electric voltage regulator, installed headers and installed a 3000 Stall Converter and a shift kit.

Although the car was original mist green (code FF1) they repainted in red.  The bumpers and the exhaust tips were re-chromed. It has Magnum 500 wheels and 14" tires.  The interior was updated with new carpet and headliner but the seats need a little upholstery work.

t drives fantastic, sounds great and gets lots of thumbs ups. My intent is to return the car to its original state except the paint.
