Roadrunner
My first car was a 68 Roadrunner at the ripe old age of
15. Bought it for $500 and had it for less than a year..long
story. I promised myself and my best friend I would get
another one some day. I have had many other Mopars since
but stumbled on this GTX on the net in my hometown of
Amarillo almost 2 years ago. I got pictures in the
mail and almost bought it over the phone. It has a 440,
bored .030 over, milled down .050 with 9.5 cr and
6 pack rods. Was told it ran low 13s in Colorado.
It was painted and owned by a young man named Kyle in
Ama. and he told me all the details behind this project..uggh. Since
then it has had Moser axles and another 8 3/4 3.91
rear installed..another long story. Still has plenty to
go to get all the drag car, back to street. Thank God
my wife is patient!
