1955 Dodge Custom Royal
This is my 1955 Dodge Custom Royal. She is pretty much the same as when I purchased her in 2008, when I was living in Colorado, from the original owner family from Placitas. I have made several mechanical repairs, installed the original equipment Goodyear Super-Cushion bias ply tires and removed the aftermarket air conditioner and brake booster. This is a very drivable car and my intent is to get her into, more-or-less, original equipment condition.
When I moved to New Mexico last September, I drove her from just outside Denver at a steady 70 mph, including over Raton Pass, without a hint of a problem. Paint is Heather Rose & Sapphire White - a scheme normally found on the 2-door hardtop as the "La Femme" option.

Power is the Super Red Ram 270 CID hemi with the fairly rare Power Pack option (Carter 4-barrel carb, dual exhausts, dual ignition points and 193 h.p.). Other factory options are the 2-speed PowerFlite transmission, full-time power steering, 4-way power seat, 8-tube push-button (am) radio with rear seat speaker and dual antenna, electric clock, map light, glove box light, outside rear view mirror and tinted windshield. Eventhough a work-in-progress, I have taken her to several shows in Colorado and she always draws a crowd.
We are looking forward to our membership in this Mopar Club.
