1979 B-100 Dodge Van
My van is a 1979 Dodge B-100 2 wheel drive and is my one and only daily driver for now. When I bought it in 1992 (see picture when I first bought it below) for $100.00 at a job in Stamford , CT. When we moved down to New Mexico , it under went a few changes over the years. First, I put a 360 crate motor (bored over 30) in it. It has about 450 hp now. The top end is a 202 intake, 160 exhaust,3 angle stainless steal valves, Edelbrock performer intake, purple cam, 600cfm carb, MSD 6al box ignition, MSD dist, MSD 8mm wires, Black Jack headers, 3-1/2" collectors and real dual exhaust (see pipes just in front of tires). Tranny is a 727 with a 2000 stall speed converter and a b+m shift kit, stock rear end with a limited slip. I raised the front about 4'. On the rear, I put 2" blocks with 9 leave springs on each side. It was a little at a time until I reached this height. I took out the wheel wells inside for more room inside and put in steel diamond plate (see just above tires) the colors are red, white and blue painted in my driveway by me and my friend - it took a few days!

We also put the raised roof on. It is almost 5' inside and 9' tall outside. We also made the bumper guard up front. Front tires are 31x10-50's, rear tires are 31x11-50's. Inside is never done. It is just plain right now with black bucket seats and a bench seat in the rear for the kids. It is a nice ride. Not bad at all. I don't know how fast it is in the 1/4 mile but it does go over a 100mph PDQ!
