1977 Power Wagon
In 2007, my Dodge Ram was stolen from our driveway after less than a year of having it; I wasn't interested in making another big purchase and decided to look for something to get me back and forth to work and pull my car for racing trips. We decided to go take Ken Kiefer's 1977 Dodge Power Wagon for a ride. My wife and daughter loved the look and I knew the fun we could have in it and so it was decided. Everyone knew Ken's yellow truck and let's face it; the yellow didn't go well with our Viper red 1967 Plymouth Satellite.
I started the modification process to make it our own, rebuilding the engine, transmission, and changed the paint color. The truck now has a 440 with 10-1 Speed Pro pistons, Comp Cans,
4 x 4 cam, Edelbrock intake and carburetor and Hooker headers, 727 automatic with shift kit and hemi stall converter, 6 inch lift, new rims with 35 inch Mickey Thompson tires, posi traction both front and rear, ¾ ton suspension, with the original a/c that is still functional.
In just a few years, we made the truck our own and of course, now my only worry is that my wife drives it too.
