1987 Dakota
This is my 1987 Dodge Dakota. I bought it from Steve Baker and have owned it now for approximately 3 years. It carries a 440 bored 30 over with aluminum heads and a 630 roller cam and rockers. It has a torque flight 727, a new shortened 8¾ rear end with 35 spline with Mark William's axels, and four wheel areo-space aluminum disc brakes and rotors.
My plans for this truck are to get it into the 10.90's here. Right now, its quickest time here is 11.05. Its quickest time ever was in Las Vegas with four back to back 10.60's. I've taken a couple of 3rds and 2nds at the Mopar Challenge Series here over the years and went 4 rounds 2 years in a row at Mopars at the Strip.
I've had a lot of fun racing at the Mopar Muscle Club of NM's Mopar Challenge Series and encourage everyone to come on out and participate in this event.
want to thank Art Jr., Art Sr., and everyone else at Six Pack Performance in Albuquerque for all their help. I also want to thank Joseph Barreras for introducing me to Art Sr. and getting me started in this Mopar group who have become a whole different family of friends. And I can't forget my best friend my Dad Tony who is always willing to sacrifice his spare time to help me in any thing I need to do. But most of all I'd like to thank my wife Bernadette and kids Montana & Toby for there support in anything I do
